These are not printed or laser-etched pieces. They are heat-branded Western Red Cedar coasters built for restaurants, bars, hotels, events, and brands that want something more substantial than disposable pulpboard.
Every coaster is manufactured in Texas and is 100% Made in the USA. We are a proud member of the Go Texan program, the Texas Department of Agriculture initiative that highlights products grown, made, or served in the Lone Star State.

The wood itself is Western Red Cedar, sustainably sourced from Oregon and Washington states. The material is chosen for its natural resistance to rot, its attractive grain, and its ability to take a deep, clean heat brand. Each coaster is laminated, which does two important things: it resists warping over time, and it creates the distinctive butcher-block look that sets the finished product apart from ordinary wood coasters.
The branding process is heat branding. A custom brand is pressed into the wood, producing a dark, permanent impression that becomes part of the coaster rather than sitting on the surface. This method handles fine detail exceptionally well—logos, lettering, borders, stars, and intricate line work all reproduce cleanly.
The examples in this article show the range of what is possible: simple patriotic marks, clean business wordmarks, detailed circular logos, and highly ornate illustrations.
Even complex artwork holds up. The close-up of the tree design demonstrates the level of line weight and shading the process can achieve.
High-volume orders are routine. Quantities of 10,000 or more are handled without issue, and volume pricing is available as order size increases. Whether you need a few hundred coasters for a single location or a multi-thousand run for a chain or event, production capacity is not a limiting factor.
QR codes are available as a standard service. Using the Coaster.Link platform, a branded QR code can be heat-branded onto the coaster (often on the reverse side). When scanned, the code routes through Coaster.Link and sends the customer to the destination you specify—menu, loyalty page, website, or campaign landing page. Scan counts are tracked so you can measure engagement. Details are available at Coaster.Link.
These coasters combine practical durability with a finished appearance that feels intentional. The laminated Western Red Cedar resists warping, the heat-branded mark stays legible through repeated use, and the butcher-block grain gives each piece a distinct look. Because they are made in Texas from American-sourced cedar and carry the Go Texan mark, they also support a clear “Made in USA” story for the brands that use them.
If you are evaluating custom coasters for a restaurant group, hotel, brewery, or promotional campaign, the combination of material quality, branding fidelity, and production capacity is the core of what CedarCoasters delivers. Volume pricing applies, and the team can discuss specific quantities, artwork, and timelines directly.
