In the heart of the Lone Star State, where the spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity thrives, CedarCoasters.com found its home. Founded by Matt Roszyk, this Texas-based company emerged from humble beginnings to become a leading provider of personalized wooden coasters.
The story of CedarCoasters.com began in 2012 in The Woodlands, a suburb of Houston, TX. It was nearing Christmas and Matt's brother David was visiting his workshop. David was keen on making something to give away that year to friends and family. A few ideas were thrown around, but coasters, which was David's idea, ended up winning. Little did either of them realize what the future had in store.

As the popularity of these unique wooden coasters grew, so did the demand. During this time, Matt's long-time friend and creative director at Recon Wear, Cleigh Pascoe, entered the scene. Recon Wear, an esteemed apparel company serving Fort Jackson in South Carolina, was on the lookout for a distinctive promotional item to resplace a selection of hats. Over a brainstorming session, Matt suggested coasters, as he personally knew they were a hit in his recent past. He was not suggesting that they buy from him, but just as an idea. On an extensive search for a wooden coaster option, it became obvious that there was nothing being offered that would work. The next part of the conversation focussed on making them in Matt's workshop. This is where the current product and process started.
Today, CedarCoasters.com proudly calls Texas home. The business has evolved to cater to the needs of customers both big and small, from individual orders of 50 coasters to sizable batches of 50,000. The Texan spirit permeates CedarCoasters.com, reflected in the craftsmanship, commitment to quality, and the personalized touch that defines their unique wooden creations.
